Skratchy Ego is a Music Producer and DJ From South Africa, He studied Music at Fuba Academy Majoring in Jazz Studies. He graduated after Three Years and Went on to study Live Sound and Production. He also attended The Business of Music Course . The aim of the course was to equip Music industry Practitioners to Understand the Business side of Music. It covered subjects Like Copyright, Publishing, Running a Label, Collection Societies, Branding and More. The Course was facilitated by none other than Copyright Specialist Mr Graeme Gilfillan from South Africa and Mr Keith Donald from Ireland who is a Board member of the Irish Music Rights Organization, and The Mechanical Copyright Protection Society of Ireland. After the course He established His own Label and released Two Kwaito Albums using a Different Stage Name, which did well on Radio. He Took a break from the music Industry to further His Studies and in 2015, Skratchy Ego graduated from the Vaal University of Technology (VUT), He has worked with Musicians Like, Skunk Anansie, Meshell Ndegeocello, Tracy Chapman, Hugh Masekela, Busi Mhlongo, Dru hill, Spice Girls, Michael Jackson, Jonas Gwangwa, Billy Ocean as a Sound technician.
