Organised layers of distortion, aggressive percussion and melodic dissonances. It is with the grace of a caterpillar and a trash-mechanical aesthetic of engines, metals and scrap metal that Tartaro, a bass and drums duo from the Roman province, makes its entrance into the Italian underground scene. Inspired by bands such as Zu, Zeus, Lightining bolt and Om, the duo knows how to create soundscapes under the regime of an electrified chaos, a true wall of hardcore sound, pounding and exclusively instrumental. Strange to say, but they also make people dance, as witnessed at the Muso Music Festival 2023 in Oriolo Romano (VT).
