Luís Figueiredo is a pianist, composer, arranger and musical producer based in Coimbra, Portugal. Since releasing his debut album in 2010, he has been exploring a wide variety of musical pathways, from jazz to symphonic, from free improvisation to songs and electronics. Figueiredo truly thrives on the constant search for musical meaning. He has worked and recorded with a number of artists and ensembles such as Cristina Branco, Carlos Bica, João Mortágua, Julián Argüelles, Eivind Aarset, Eduardo Raon, Joao Hasselberg, Reinier Baas, Jaques Morelenbaum, Pedro Neves, Fiona Monbet, Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, Frankfurt Radio Bigband, Orchestre national de Bretagne, among many others.
