Formed within the walls of a local university, Eden Eyes aims to bring variety, a bone-crushing degree of heaviness to Singapore's ever-burgeoning underground metal scene, and a youthful attitude uncharacteristic of the genre. Beginning as a cover band, they have graduated from playing in lecture theatres to local venues, cementing their name in the scene as a force to be reckoned with. With their sights set on broader horizons, they are working on their debut EP that aims to be as refreshing as it is uncompromisingly heavy. Through their music, the band aims to provide a candid perspective on hard topics such as grief, heartbreak and loneliness, hoping to foster a sense of relatable catharsis and aggression in the nuanced angst that underscores their ever-developing sound.
