EJ McGee, born Elijah Jaquez McGee, is a unique artist from Southwest Ohio's Dayton Area (Huber Heights). Having moved around a lot during his upbringing, he began experimenting with songwriting at the age of 13, singing being his primary form of expression in his early stages. Citing influences such as Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Usher, Ne-Yo, The-Dream, Drake, and J.Cole, eventually, EJ found himself transitioning into more than just a singer. Realizing his love for rapping had always been just as strong as his love for singing, he found himself evolving into an artist, unafraid of showing his duality and contradictions, we as human beings are all too familiar with. Now the Rapper/Singer/Songwriter has hit a new stride, and has begun a new era of realizing his full potential as a complete artist. It's still only the beginning for EJ McGee, the talent is there, the drive is there, now all that's left is what story time will tell.
