A former hockey player turned musician. Damien Ketlo left home at the age of 15 to pursue a dream of playing hockey. The game would take him around the world before returning home after more than a decade long career. During his career Ketlo would balance this hockey-music lifestyle. He began drumming for his brother’s band Omega Crom playing both metal & cover gigs in the Vancouver area. LP Beyond Control would be released in 2014 as the band toured. Ketlo would balance this lifestyle until 2017 where he would hang up the skates to put more focus into music. He would start family band Kedah Clan in 2018 with his 2 siblings & cousin sharing guitar-vox duties while producing-writing. In between releases Damien ended up on reality tv as a houseguest for Big Brother Canada in Toronto while representing his Indigenous roots & home rez in Nadleh Whut’en. After BBC the band finished recording the rest of their album. KC would release Ndn Summer in 2019 along with music video Good Time Chee directed by Haida Gwaii filmmaker Patrick Shannon. The group toured in 2020 until shows were cancelled due to the pandemic. During this time experimented solo music would be created under damien k. The 1st track Get Down feat. brother Johnny on guitar would be released in 2020. Other music creations would follow, feat. artists like maki, Joey Stylez & Hannah Cooley. Damien plans to keep on releasing sporadic experimentations with friends and fam under damien k. while working on future albums.
