Biography

EMMA LEE continues to earn recognition as an indie wildcard on the rise. A seasoned lyricist with an extensive creative resume she's a mold-breaker among Hip Hop artists today. Creating and performing from a young age she has shared tracks and stages with the likes of Kool Keith, Nile Rodgers, DMC of Run DMC, M1 of Dead Prez, Delfeayo Marsalis and Patti Labelle. With features in NYC's famed "End of the Weak: MC Challenge," Guerrilla Grooves Radio, Vitalgroundz "Ladies of Vital Exception (L.O.V.E.)" Women in Hip Hop Showcase, WrassleRap podcast, Boom Bap TV and more, she's building an undeniable presence across the industry. Born in Uganda and raised in Harlem, NYC among Black Arts Movement activists, EMMA LEE has gone from rural and urban poverty through the nightmares of the American Dream with a focused conscience. In her aggressive rhymes meet soft vocals, visual thoughts and boundless artistic appetite.
