Born in Richmond California, Daisy Mayze music can be traced back to her poetry career. Starting at the age of 15 Daisy began practicing her performance. work-shopping her writing, and leaving it all on the stage. Eventually, poetry led Daisy to the national spotlight as she appeared on HBO’s ‘Brave New Voices’. Shortly after She began touring across the east coast with a Grammy award winning classical ensemble. During the tour, she was tasked with the embodiment of poetry set to classical music. Daisy’s music career ignited the moment she discovered how her lyrics could amplify a melody. Daisy specializes in connecting with her audience emotionally with musical storytelling. Her dream is to influence the masses with her words, truly believing that the pen is mightier than the sword.
