SNOOK - musician, bridge builder & integration figure The 38-year-old Engadin native is considered a pioneer of multilingual music in Switzerland and a bridge builder between different cultures. He skillfully uses all four national languages in his songs and SNOOK speaks each of them fluently. An "integration figure" therefore called him the "Spiegel", the largest news magazine in Europe, which dedicated an entire article to SNOOK. In 2016, he received for his work, the sponsorship award of the Canton of Graubünden, endowed with CHF 20,000. "I want to spread positive feelings," says SNOOK, whose real name is Gino Clavuot. He grew up in idyllic Scuol, the son of a Swiss and a half-Brazilian, who has always used language as a bridge between different cultures. He himself describes the Grisons, his homeland, as an ideal world. "I want to pass on to the listener the positive energy that I know from my homeland" he says. Violence, drugs and sexism do not exist in his songs. "The Grisons is not the Bronx". In fact, SNOOK radiates an incredible joie de vivre, both in his music and in his rousing performances. That SNOOK is authentic is also noticed by his fans. The album "Ufstand" was downloaded over 20,000 times, "Momento" landed at number one on Itunes and received frenetic applause in the local music scene.
