Winner of the 2021 NetEase Diamond Award, his 2024 release Royal Blue, featuring Rapeter, held the No. 2 spot on the NetEase Trending Billboard for over a month, cementing his place in the mainstream. Blending R&B, indie pop, and alternative rock, Jimmy’s sound challenges the conventions of Mandopop, offering a fresh and timely take on the genre. Since beginning his songwriting journey in 2018, he has continually experimented with raw, emotionally charged lyricism, paired with DIY indie production to create a distinctive, intimate sound.
