Biography

May Pen City Records artiste Tyrifik, formerly known as Terro Slim, believes that his exciting name change and new sound can help elevate him to the top tier of the Dancehall Game.

Over the past few months, the quick-witted deejay has emerged as one of dancehall's fiercest and talented young artistes because of his unique voice and new age flow. He has quickly carved out a decent reputation for his silky smooth flow and his standout lyrical mastery.
In dancehall circles, especially in his hometown parish of Clarendon, he has earned a decent street rep for singles such as 'Word Sound a Power' and 'Dancehall Spenders' from as early as 2015. He grew up in the Porus, Manchester, in challenging circumstances, and during his teenage years, Tyrifik attended the famous Vere Technical high school in Clarendon but his principal focus was always music, and not athletics. "There was a lots of hungry days growing up but music was my best friend, my constant companion, on the days when I had to make a long journey to shop for my parents, or whenever I was bored," Tyrifik whose real name is Terrio Archer, said.
After recognising that he had a gift at an early age for the craft of being an entertainer, he started to dedicate countless hours towards sharpening his skills. Now, all that hard work may be on the verge of paying off.
Tyrifik is being managed by his brother, Marvin Henry, and together, they have been producing a number of independent singles
