NiTasha Jackson is a multi-hyphenate creature. Singer-songwriter, pianist, composer, producer, arranger, artist, poet, model, actress… She began studying piano at Yamaha Music School in her hometown of Fredericksburg, Virginia at 5 years old, where she received classical training, ear training and composition lessons. She’d go on to receive numerous awards and recognition for her compositions on state, regional and national levels, and before turning 18, she’d worked with several professional artists and arrangers. Growing up, she had an insatiable appetite for all kinds of music. As a result, her music tends to blur the edges of genres, ranging from delicate piano and vocal tracks to catchy pop tunes, understated indie folk/rock to neo-soul and hip-hop/r&b. In 2020, she wrote/produced/arranged and released her first full length album “Square One” as an independent artist. She has also contributed to rock, country/folk, rap and house recordings, and her vocals have been featured in national ads.
