Selma Bajrami (born July 4, 1980) is a Bosnian singer, songwriter and media personality. She has released a total of 8 studio albums and filmed over 30 music videos. She recorded and released her first studio album, Kad suza ne bude... at the age of just 18, in 1998. She gained significant popularity and fame across the former Yugoslavia in 2005 after the release of her fifth studio album, Kakvo tijelo Selma ima, which was a tremendous success that year. Her subsequent album, Ostrvo tuge, released in 2007, was equally successful, earning Selma every major award a performer could win. Thanks to her dedication, hard work, and investment in her career, Selma’s music remains popular today and is passed down from generation to generation.
