Kritakyle (Antoine Lavelle Thomas) Writer, Rapper, and aspiring actor, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. KRIT has remained constant within music and cultures through different eras (from 1996 - present) as well as locations. (Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Dallas) Sharing an authentic life experience & a powerful message of pain, trauma, and perseverance. After a very difficult upbringing , Antoine was incarcerated at the age of 17 and served 7 years in the Pennsylvania prison system, although the desire to create music and art came from an earlier age it is here where he began fine tuning his rapping ability in the daily rap battles between fellow inmates, here he would also earn the name “Kritakyle” (a play on the word critical) for his unique vernacular & word play. After serving his time he Entered into a totally different world and millennium, it was a tough adjustment that he largely credits his wife Kathy for helping him transition back into society. being restricted through incarceration and supervision, Kritakyle never really got a true opportunity to showcase or pursue his art. After moving from Pittsburgh he would have stints in Cleveland, Ohio as well as Atlanta, Georgia before settling in Dallas, Texas. in 2022 KRIT would begin working with DAS FRANCISCO and join powerful people. 2023 his opus & masterpiece is due to be release “Son Of Arthur” 7-4-23, under Cassette Kingdom Records.
