YUCCA YUCCA are Irina Asatiani and Rares Caraivan. Irina and Rares humorously describe their music as "German pop with migration background". They have a migration background and combine all the musical styles and cultures for which they have a passion and with which they grew up in Berlin. Musically it goes from Afro, to Latin, to sounds from the Balkans. Whether it's current artists like Rosalia, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, WizKid or all-time favorites like Edith Piaf, Maria Callas, Earth Wind & Fire - all these artists influence the sound of YUCCA YUCCA. The two artists want to make these diverse vibes with German lyrics accessible to all people living in Germany. Briefly about the artists: Irina was born in Tbilisi/Georgia, has a musical education, is a dancer and singer; Rares was born in Bucharest/Romania, is a sound engineer, producer, singer/songwriter. The two met in the early summer of 2022 during a songwriting session in the studio and immediately noticed that they have a harmony and passion for the same styles of music. Shortly after that, the first song they wrote together was born. The two had a first small success with their first live performance in the Berlin private club in July 2022, with which they could inspire the audience. The goal of Irina and Rares is to inspire their audience permanently with "Happy Vibes". Because that's exactly what they and their music stand for.
