Alex Krymau, known under the pseudonym 2xMint (Doublemint), is a crunk artist and producer from Minsk, Belarus. Born on November 3rd. From an early age, 2xMint was an ardent fan of music, primarily Dirty South rap. The main influence on the formation of his musical taste was exerted by such legendary performers as Lil’ Jon and The East Side Boyz, Trillville, YoungBloodz and so on. For the first few years of his career, he developed the art of MC. But after the first trip to Vilnius (Lithuania) in 2012 2xMint realized that it was necessary to start writing rap in a universal and understandable language all over the world - English. Most of the friends and guys in the Minsk hip-hop crowd did not take seriously and even laughed at his efforts to imitate Americans and his accent in songs. But this did not stop him. Moreover, his irreplaceable assistant and loving wife, Ala, has always been hand in hand with him. In 2019, 2xMint moves to Poland and simultaneously rethinks his music career. And so, teaming up with Big Grunt at the beginning of 2020, the guys decide to revive the very music on which they grew up and the love for which united them - Crunk. And now, 2 years later, the work on the album is almost finished. Ordinary guys from Belarus managed to attract real legends of crunk music such as: YoungBloodz, Trillville, K-Rab to record the album "WATERMELON SUGAR", which will be released in May 2022.
