Dane Curley is a songwriter, rapper, and electronic producer from the New York City market area. Dane Curley's electronic album debut is a multi-genre psychedelic 2LP featuring Simon Posford (of Shpongle, Younger Brother, Hallucinogen), Easily Embarrassed, Ra, Xenoben, Farasat Anees, Encounters, and an incredible array of more than 30+ additional collaborators and contributors. Dane is an unbound creative, making electronica, psybient, psychill, techno, house, ambient, and a variety of both downtempo and progressive dance music forms. All these as well as prog rock, psytrance, jazz and funk fusions, and more are on his album The Cosmic Collaboration Machine, aided by his collaborators. Dane often imprints vocals & lyrics atop unexpected electronic music styles, from techno & house to dub & trance, including a planned collaboration with psybient/downtempo mastermind Entheogenic. Dane raps, sings, and performs spoken word, having originally debuted in the indie hip hop genre, where his conscious rap album "Chain of Events" released to underground acclaim in 2010. Later, his rap+electronica collabs with Pakistani EDM makers Talal Qureshi and Farasat Anees (respectively), as well as psychill power-trio Easily Embarrassed, aided his transition from indie rap into the electronica scene, where he now wields unique in-the-box synthesizer talents and wows with his own sound-manipulation techniques.
