Priincess Kemz, birth name Kemi, a new rising talent from East London. Kemz style comes from influences of old school Hip Hop such as 2pac and Eminem. She mixes that 90's flow with a new school twist having been listening to UK artists like JHus, MoStack and a dash of Little Simz, her singing takes on a sultry sound, with influences such as Craig David and Lauryn Hill with an R'n'B edge. She has been involved in various open mics around Shoreditch, Camden and Cambridge, has auditioned and competed for competitions such as The Voice UK, Britain’s Got Talent, Open Mic UK where she placed as a regional finalist, and Coast 2 Coast Live winning 1st place for an online music video contest. Performed at the Remix21 festival, supported by the National lottery, which celebrated the last 21 years of music. Her biggest performance being at The Mayor's Newham Show in Central Park, Eastham. She released her first album 'Buzz' in April 2019 which amazingly gained recognition from BBC Music Introducing in London which led to her performance at the Roundhouse for Roundhouse Rising. Kemz has since released three more singles, ‘That’s What I Like’, ‘Self-Made’ and ‘Do Not Disturb’ with her aim to keep dropping hit after hit. ‘Do Not Disturb’ came with some visuals for the New Year which dropped on Link UpTV.
