“Awkward” Marina Sneider is a NYC-based singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and TikTok microcelebrity. Inspired equally by 2000s pop queens, Broadway musicals, and edgelord rock, Marina’s music is an eclectic and emotional variety show. As a teen, Marina rose to fandom-fame in 2013 with her My-Little-Pony-inspired showtune Anthropology, and then 2014’s Entropy, making her music a staple in nerd spaces for over a decade. She also writes music for commercials/television, and is perhaps best-known for her work on Dawn’s “It Gets Better With Dawn” ad campaign (it’s the one with the duck in the oil spill.)
