Of Congolese and Canadian heritage, Isse Baby’s sound is heavily influenced by his roots and his family ties. As Isse combines his influences with his own experience, a pocket of originality and authenticity reveals itself, not just to Isse but listeners themselves. Isse finds himself in no particular genre, and continues to thrive in his own pocket, competing with none other than himself. 
 Isse wrote his first song at the age of 14; a testament to his gifted natural ability to play on words and articulate himself beyond his years. Isse Baby has since been in the studio developing and evolving his sound day in day out. What you hear from Isse Baby in 3 minutes is a culmination of blood, sweat and tears of over 8 years of perfecting his craft, and still to this day. Isse is largely inspired by his love for the likes of Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Lil Wayne and Jay Z among other incredibly skilled artists and real life. 
 Isse acknowledges his music as the space, where all people; from all walks of life, are able to come together and appreciate authenticity, talent and lyricism.
