The FYB (Fresh Young Boyz)/(ForeverYourBrother) rapper possesses an impressive understanding on all aspects of the hip hop culture. From his energetic and passionate stage performances to his eclectic music selections, DaVinci credits all the great Hip-Hop artists from the 1990’s and 2000’s as inspiration, and he hopes to bring that same type of creative energy and innovative spirit to his current music. “I would never classify myself to just one genre. If I like a beat, I hop on it and kill it. No matter if it’s Rap, R&B or Country. I just want to make good music for the people,” says the rapper. He gained his musical influences by listening to the likes of the Dungeon Family , TPAIN , Lil Wayne , Future , Jody Breeze and Young Thug . DC DaVinci always had a love for music but his focus intensified for his artistry after a baseball injury. “After my injury, I felt like I had a point to prove,” and that’s what he did. DC DaVinci may not be a household name (yet) but music fans have definitely felt his influence. He’s worked with accredited artists like Birdman , Rich Gang , TK Kravitz Tory Lanez , Rich The Kid , XL Beat God: XL Eagle made it! and fellow FYB member Jacquees . Currently, DC DaVinci is preparing for the release of his solo project (name to be determined) and he’s also teaming up with FYB for a much-anticipated collaborative album.
