Born in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo in the early 80’s, Jeff Gonzales or otherwise known as Bruises N Cuts/BNC The Disco Vampire, settled in his now home town Athens Greece in the early 90’s. Having a passion for music from a young age in 2006 debuted as an Emcee artists on Blend Mishkin’s “Misspaced” LP. In the same year together with Athenian artists Blend Mishkin, Palov & Sugahspank co founded the Independent Athenian based label by the name Cast-a-Blast Records. Music producer, Dj, lyricist/Emcee having collaborated with a wide range of local and international artists, is the front Emcee for bands such as Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution, The Happy Dog Project, Cast-a-Blast Sound System , Champagne & Reefer, Capitan Futuro and his own BNC & The Disco Vampire Band. Features with K73 Munich based label, Athenian artist RSN (EMI) Imam Baildi (EMI) & Supersan are among a few recent mentions in a growing list. Stretching 10 years in the music industry, bending the genre between Hip Hop, Funk, Jazz, Reggae & Electronica, he has released 3 full LPs, “The Birth” (CAB), Ruff, Rowdy & Unfocused” (CAB) and “Bodega Funk” (K73) along with numerous singles and releases on various labels under the same moniker.
