With a voice that effortlessly bridges the worlds of pop and R&B, Sharlotta is a classically trained singer whose talent knows no bounds. Her journey into the world of the arts began an early age. Sharlotta honed her vocal skills through music deeply rooted in the church, Motown, and rigorous classical training under the direction of Robyn Holliman, Andrew Williams, and Raymond Shultz. This foundation was monumental to her musical journey, and led her to become 1st chair soprano 2 in the prestigious Texas All State Choir in 2006, a testament to her dedication to her craft. Sharlotta’s musical prowess extends beyond vocals; she mastered instruments like the tuba, sousaphone, euphonium, baritone, trombone, and trumpet during her 8 years in various bands while in attendance at CMS/NCHS/TWU. Sharlotta earned acclaim for her role in "Big River," a performance that earned her a coveted Best Supporting Actress nomination for the Betty Buckley Award. She pursued higher education at Texas Wesleyan University on the prestigious President's Honors Scholarship, a testament to her academic excellence. Additionally, her exceptional vocal abilities were acknowledged with a Vocal Performance Scholarship. An avid seamstress, she weaves her passion for upcycling into her clothing, seamlessly incorporating fashion with her music.Her ability to seamlessly merge her large range of diverse talents reflects her unique journey and passion for artistic expression.
