Patrick C. Pegg is a Technical Artist working in sound, light and film. As a founding member of Mafic Ocean, a collective at the forefront of art, theory, and technology, his extensive experience as an AV Technician informs his artistic process. With practical prowess leading inquiry into the connection between humans and tech, PCP produces his work by designing customized control systems of hardware and software tools conventionally utilized in audio, film, and event production. By generating art through programmable interactions with machines, a flow state emerges in the relationship between process and product which yields new forms of media production, combining what have been traditionally separate systems of production into both digital and physical experiential environments.
