Filippo is a young Brazilian musician/composer born in São Paulo/Brazil, where he began his music trajectory when he was 12, by taking guitar classes and playing in amateur bands. Filippo's musicality is strongly inspired by symphonic progressive rock bands of the 70's such as Yes and Genesis. In his work, he is known to often add Brazilian popular music and jazz concepts to his sound, incorporating elements found in Milton Nascimento, Tom Jobim and Novos Baianos’ songs. Filippo is also the former guitar player for the band Hedgear, where he collaborated with compositions and arrangements.
