Born in Newcastle but based in Leeds, GBSN is at the forefront of the NUKG scene, merging several genres including speed garage, bassline and dubstep into his own distinctive sound. Originally introduced to music production in 2017 by way of bass house and brostep, the 21-year-old producer has since levelled up his releases, taking stylistic influence from artists such as MPH, Oppidan, Gemi, and Bakey. Promoting himself via Instagram and Tiktok, GBSN has seen his music played on Kiss FM, NuVolve, and Rinse FM, helping him to secure releases on notable labels including Wang Records and NUCRU, with further in the works. Having previously supported artists including Sammy Virji, Bou, and DJ Q, whilst recently securing sets with events such as Profound Sound, Dazed, Invicta Audio, Worried About Henry, and also playing Loosefest twice.
