Learning her craft at underground hip hop cyphers and jungle raves, EVABEE brings classic street soul into a modern framework. With subtle, emotive vocals and lyrics floating over hard hitting boombap beats, its a combination that delivers maximum impact. EVABEE delivers powerful sentiment and soulful words in a distinct unifying sound; effortlessly drifting between Neo-Soul, Jazz and Electronic genres. Strongly inspired by Manchester's music and nightlife, EVABEE is a natural born performer, playing esteemed shows such as Manchester International Festival, Beat Horizon, Gilles Peterson's We Out Here, Outlook Festival and Sun and Bass. EVABEE has accompanied solo releases with cuts on labels such as Swing Ting, Village Live, and a DnB single 'Unconditional' on Space Cadet. Working alongside the legend DJ Marky with their song “Love Will find its way” and her latest song “Surface” produced my her partner in music Zar, lead onto the opportunity to record a 30 min chill mix for Charlie T on BBC 1xtra Drum and Bass Show alongside Blindside. With a growing back catalogue and support from artists such as DRS and Space Cadet and Children of Zeus, EVABEE is planting new seeds in 2024; working on her debut album which will see the mixture of neo-soul, hip-hop and bass music.
