Amáutica began as a duo in late 2008 in Llavallol, Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed by drummer Romina Dusk and guitarist/vocalist Eugenio J. Cáceres (El Gurú). El Gurú, an underground artist since 1989, merged his literary passion with rock music. By 2010, after intense rehearsals, Amáutica developed a unique sound with esoteric themes and powerful rock arrangements, leading to their first release, "El Oscuro Toque de lo Impersonal." In 2012, they released the EP "El Centro Secreto," gaining international attention. Bassist Christian Vega joined later that year. The band collaborated with Frank Rothen on the single "Alunizaje - Nemesis Remix by Rotten" and worked on their first album, "Rectificando el Sueño," released digitally in 2016 and on CD in 2017. Amáutica's profile grew with the re-release of their album, contributions to compilations, remixes, and festival performances in Latin America. In 2021, they started recording "Sin Altares" at Bluenoise Records and released collaboration singles with Nino Sable (Aeon Sable) and Christian Lebrecht (Golden Apes). In June 2024, Amáutica signed with Aenaos Records to release "Sin Altares" in September 2024.
