We (Louis "LQ" Iverson and Keith ''Smeazy" Passmore) are MC², creators of Hip-Hop and Soul Music. We got our start back in Washington, DC in 2011 releasing a series of mixtapes before our 2017 EP Native Sons followed by the 2019 LP Soul Physics. We currently reside in San Antonio, TX. Smeazy is originally from Raleigh, NC and LQ is from Wichita, KS. Musical influences from artists and groups such as A Tribe Called Quest, Little Brother Black Star, Common, J Dilla, The Roots, Robert Glasper, and Slum Village, inspire our sound. We've had the privilege of opening for acts such as Illharmonic, Abstract Rude, The Foreign Arm, & AMEA. And we've played alongside incredible bands and artists such as Mírame, Sacred Fantasy, Andrea Vocab Sanderson, Mr. Pidge, Ponciano Seoane, Esselle, Dfoy_music, Spy MC, Sometimes, Nigel Pierce, Apollo Black, Mklmx, Tek Nalo G, KaeVibes and Xenobia, Sacred Fantasy, AMEA.
