Technaut is the new prog kid on the block. He is a Dublin based DJ and Producer. His music and mixes consist of progressive and melodic house inspired sounds, with elements of dark tribal techno intertwined. He has a flair for storytelling through music, which can be heard in his productions and his mixes, where he brings listeners on a journey. His sets usually start slow and end fast, ranging between 120 and 130 bpm. He favours deep & groovy dance beats, which break down into long & euphoric build-ups. Needless to say, his drops pound hard and his basslines throb out all the built-up energy. Technaut was a new alias started in 2019, as he had previously gone by the name ‘4QU4’ since 2013. Previously having produced lots of successful commercial house music, he slowly developed a passion for darker and heavier forms of music, and in 2019 finally decided to start his new alias ‘Technaut’. Despite the ‘Technaut’ alias being established recently, he has already hypnotised the minds of thousands of fans, and seen great success with this project. Having released his debut single Fulcrum on Decidance Records, Technaut is now regularly playing sold out gigs across nightclubs in Ireland. The future is very bright for this rising Irish talent.
