Yasmeen Quintana, is a singer & songwriter born in Málaga, Spain. Her mother is from Argentina and her father was from Palestine. She started singing in France, where she grew up. She was part of several Hip Hop, Soul and Gospel bands back there. Today, it's been 10 years that she’s living in Barcelona, a city where she keeps on developing her career as a vocal leader in bands such as “Soulseando”, “Just for Funk” or Sofree her original project. Yasmeen has performed at various festivals and live events across France, Spain and UK over the last years. She studied, music, performance and dance since the age of 6 but she is more a self taught artist. Coming from a family of various origins she always immersed herself in different cultures mostly Latin culture. However it’s in the Gospel, the Soul and the Jazz that she found her way and today she develops her creativity and her performances by mixing these two genres.
