Friends Without Faces is a music project started by 26 y/o musician Sorrel Grice. Initially an indie rock act, her music veered into more textural & experimental territory by her fourth album, 2018's TULPA. Soon after, she was able to recruit Lychee, a red panda & stoat hybrid creature who lives far in the future on a soon-to-be tropical Antarctica. Combining Sorrel's knowledge of human pop music & theory, with Lychee's avant-garde production and songwriting, Friends Without Faces exists currently as a collaborative, experimental outfit with a focus on genre-bending, exploratory pop.
