Hometown Woodruff, SC Born January 5, 1991 Genre Hip-Hop/Rap Born and raised in the small city of Woodruff SC, D.shod has had a love for music since the age of 7. He first fell in love with music when he heard the song titled Summertime in the LBC by a group named The Dove Shack. Five years later he began rapping over various instrumentals and practicing on his craft almost every day. At the age of 13 he recorded his first song with his older cousin from Greenville SC titled Break bread quickly getting his name out, performing in local talent shows. At the age of 15 he was recording in a home based studio with a few of his closest family members and another artist/mentor who went by TrappaDon who helped mold him into the artist he is today. All the while creating a street buzz with a group formed with his family members that went by squad up clique. They were a pretty popular group of artists making music together throughout high school but the group disbanded a few years later. D.shod kept doing music and performing in open mics and different showcases In Atlanta, Charlotte, and Columbia. He released a few projects titled Nothing but time, Workin on a dream and Motivation in December. Now He is still pushing forward trying to further his music career. Starting his own label in 2013 which is Mellow minded music, he is set to release new music very soon
