Robbie Melody is a producer, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist from Birmingham in the UK creating deep and meaningful music through the positive vibration of Contemporary Reggae, Roots and Dub. Inspired by the works of 1970s Jamaican pioneers such as King Tubby, Lee "Scratch" Perry, and Scientist, Robbie pays respect to the genre's golden era whilst moving forward with a more modern roots sound. His collaborations with artists like Ray Issacs, Richie Culture, K Dottie, Peppery, YT, Jugganaut and Young Culture Band have brought forth a body of work that is rich, warm, and undeniably powerful in any sound system. Spending his formative years honing his craft Robbie now works out of his Trench Rd Roots studio creating music that resonates with a global audience. With unity and togetherness at the forefront of the messages within the music of the artists he works with his catalogue continues to grow honouring its history while propelling it into the future.
