Chris Ponate (Christian Sagner, born 24.11.1997 in Germany) is a music producer and singer active in multiple genres, including but not limited to House, Pop, Hardstyle and Electro. Starting at the age of 9, he had the first experience in using the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) "Mixcraft 5", recreating popular songs to train himself the art of music production. After 3 years, at the age of 12, Chris began to use FL Studio to compose and create his first original tracks. His first success was the release of "Project Cold - Original Mix" on Bass Generator Records under the artist name "Willfree" in 2015. Later the same year Envision Recordings released Chris' track "Addicted To Love" under the same artist name, which he followed up in early 2016 with the release of "Love & Life". Later 2016 he has gotten in contact with the founder of the label "Uncopy4You", whose team Chris is a core member of now. Near the end of 2016, Chris changed his artist name to "Chris Ponate". He now has regular releases on Uncopy4You.
