Zapapaya is a French-Colombian electronic music composer and producer, currently based in Paris. After spending 10 years producing music for many artists and releasing several successful singles that have amassed millions of streams on Spotify, Zapapaya released his first EP "Raíces" in December 2023. Tribal, spiritual, enchanting, and festive, this EP reinvents Afro-Colombian rhythms with a refined electronic production. Recorded in Colombia between Cartagena and Palenque, "Raíces" features renowned artists such as La Burgo, DJ Corpas (Systema Solar), Gotopo, Ëda Diaz... With this debut work, Zapapaya confirms his legitimacy within a movement pioneered by artists like Quantic, Cerrero, and Ghetto Kumbé.
