Nominated for MTV’s Break Out Artist in 2009 and priding herself on being an inspiration to not only her community but to everyone with a dream, Hip-Hop Fashionista RAtheMC has been a frontrunner for female MC’s since. Upon the completion of her “Heart of a Champion” debut album, which received amazing reviews and impressive numbers, she was featured on MTV2’s Sucker Free Countdown and was also mention in BET’s My Mic Sounds Nice: Women in Hip Hop. In 2012, RAtheMC became the first female hip hop artist to perform on WTTG Fox 5 Morning News, and also competed on the Fox hit series The X Factor Season 2. On the outside she is seen as a “Fashion Forward” beautiful young woman, but on the inside lays a highly intelligent socially conscious young woman on a mission.
