Born in San Francisco CA , raised in the Bronx NY by way of London UK . Chrismestopher aka ChrisMesBeats founder of The Mes Hall NYC formerly a legendary studio in Mount Vernon NY has curated arts and culture in New York for Decades .. Started out as a drummer for a Heavy Metal band at the age of 13 , played shows all over the lower east side and the Bronx . At 17 realized Hip Hop was more his lane he went and bought a Dr202 , eventually got an MPC200xl , and the rest is history
