Belms’ love for electronic music began at the age of 16, in 2000, during the golden era of Trance. With Godskitchen being his second home, the hypnotic rhythms and mesmerising melodies, quickly became an obsession, and it wasn’t long before the love of sharing moments on the dancefloor was accompanied by the need to be creating those journeys from behind the decks. Purchasing his first set of Technics 1210s at the age of 18 with his student loan, he spent hours, daily, honing his craft, and widening his love to techno, progressive house and breaks. He spent some years playing at clubs and running events in Leicester where he continued to develop his DJing skills, continually striving to better himself. Over the years he’s taken great influence from many artists which have all in part, contributed to his style and tastes of today such as; Hernan Cattaneo, James Holden, Speedy J, Evil Nine, Luke Chable and Cristian Varela. He now manages ARRVL, an event run with friends in London, which has been building momentum since its inception in 2018, and is quickly becoming renowned for its intimate atmosphere and melodic, emotive musical journeys. In recent years he’s turned his attention to production, with DJing only satisfying him so far, and his passion to create something unique to share with the world. His debut release ‘Stay’ on Another Life Music already has received incredible support as well as other releases on Deep Garnet Records.
