She's had a music-filled life thus far, from jamming out to me and her mom's favorite post-hardcore and J-rock bands, to play-times filled with us making up goofy songs and parodies, to bedtimes where we sing her to sleep. Some of our spontaneous "goofy songs" became staples in our household, alongside some serious songs that I'd written for Vivian as well. So as her birthday approached, I decided to record these musical memories, to ensure we'd never forget them.
