Since his release from prison in 2016, Honcho Lou Blanco has been preparing for this very moment, the opportunity to catapult his budding career and solidify himself among rap music’s new school leaders. As he gears up for a 19-city tour later this month, the affiliate of Future’s FreeBandz label is pushing his singles “About Money” and “Back in My Bag,” including his recently released music video for the song “Off Tha Top.” All of this will lead up to his mixtape Prison Chances for Rap Advances, the final installment of his three-part mixtape series coming out this summer. Honcho previously released Felonies to Foreigns (2017) and Blessings and Lessons (2018). The Statesboro, GA, native has experienced some highs and lows during his life, growing up with a single mother and being fathered by the streets. He spent three years in prison, but the lessons learned have contributed his new outlook and the content he aims to share with fans in his new music.
