R&B/ Soul Singer, Kawasi (pronounced Quay-ci), does more than tell stories through his lyric's - he motivates and inspires. Born and raised in Albany, Georgia, under the care of his grandmother, Mrs. Reather Weston, Kawasi was showered with love and purpose at a young age - she raised him from 6 months. 
 Some may assume that after graduating Morehouse College and attending Princeton University he would feel fulfilled; but he still felt empty. Working with Hillary Clinton's camp in a dream job wasn't enough - Kawasi knew he had only scratched the surface.
