Born Michael Foster, Blinky Blink first tasted success as a member of Ma$e’s Harlem World. Harlem World was an A hip hop group signed to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def. The group consisted of six members: Mase's sister Baby Stase, Blinky Blink, Cardan, Huddy Meeno, and Loon. They released their first album, The Movement on March 9, 1999, which would make it to #11 on the Billboard 200[2] and be certified gold the following month. With guest appearances by Kelly Price, Ma$e, Nas and production by Jermaine Dupri, Kanye West, The Neptunes, Just Blaze and Dame Grease. The group’s album ‘The Movement’ hit the upper reaches of the album charts in 1999 and spawned the hit singles “Cali Chronic” and “I Really Like It.” That same year, Blink went on to pen “Take Me There,”featuring Mya, Blackstreet and Ma$e, the theme for Paramount/Nickelodeon’s wildly successful, 'The Rugrats Movie.' Blinky landed an admin deal with Spirit Music Group and got his hit song "You make me wanna sing" placed in HBO's "Entourage" twice.
