Creative by nature with an unquestionable devotion to his love of all things soulful, East London’s very own K-Child is disrupting the music scene with something that isn’t quite like anything we’ve had before. Shaped by a childhood spilt between Hackney and Sierra Leones Freetown, K-Child, real name Khalid Fysal, embarked on a career journey soaking up influences as diverse as industry giants Otis Redding, Travis Scott, Nirvana and traditional African music to then put on his chef hat and cook up his own rich blended flavour of soulful trap laced R&B.  Introduced to the music scene through his aunt, Boney M Singer Toyin Adekale, K-child crafted tracks for numerous artists while performing in several groups before striding into the spotlight as a solo artist. It was after creating an alliance with Longtime Friend and writing/production Partner R-Y ( Produced by R-Y ) that K-Child went ahead and perfected his unique sound.  Fresh off the back of writing Taliwhoah's silky 2020 single Do What You Want, ranchy 2021 follow up Do What You Want, Pt. 2 and featuring on H Moneda's luxury trap anthem Rebel, K-Child dropped his debut single My City in February 2021, an afrobeat inspired love letter to Freetown. New single 'You' is released on 29th October 2021. With more projects planned and a collection of writing collaborations well in the works, 2022 is set to be an exciting year for K-Child.
