Rituraj Upadhyay A.K.A R1TURAJ was born in Kolkata, india in year 1996. R1TURAJ has no musical background but his family members do love singing. Talking about R1TURAJ, he was a little different from his family who always loved instrumental music since childhood. He used to make melodies in phones since he was 10 years old. Slowly as the time passed, R1TURAJ started arranging pre-composed beats to complete a full track which basically were done in phones which had music composing built-in apps. As he grew up older, he realized that the music he was making was actually called 'Trance' and so he discovered the Genre. Later on R1TURAJ was gifted a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) by his brother and then he began his journey by making beats and composing melodies in the DAW. With years of experience, researchs and spending day and night in the DAW he finally released his debut track in August 2017 named 'BATTLEFIELD' under a South African based label 'TRANCE RECORDS'. At present, R1TURAJ has released tracks with well known labels in the industry like BEYOND THE STARS, NRGIZED, VERSE RECORDINGS, REDUX RECORDINGS etc. and has achieved some big supports from DJS like ROGER SHAH, FG NOISE, ORI UPLIFT, NITROUS OXIDE and many more. R1TURAJ has also played his debut live B2B set in Goa in Being Trance Festival under his old alias 'TUN3BOOK'. He has been a part of guest mixes in many radio shows and had also played a set in world's biggest radio event 'World Trance Artist Event 2018'.
