Dejah’E is an independent American R&B singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in Racine,Wisconsin. She fell in love with music at a young age. Singing in her church’s choir and learning how to play the violin and piano at the age of 8. As well as writing her own songs and taking dance classes. When she was 16 she decided to start a girl group with her father as their manager.The group lasted for about 2 years, with plenty of local success. A few years later when Dejah graduated high school, she was flown out to Los Angeles, CA by Grammy award winning producer Greg Lawson to be in a new girl group called “Nu Chic”.They had the opportunity to work with and showcase their talents for music manager Johnny Wright and Grammy award winning producer Hit-Boy. After a 2 year hiatus, She released her first single as a solo artist in June 2017. In January 2020 she released her hit single and music video “That Button" which was shot with music video director PhillyFlyBoy.That single led up to the release of her debut album “Mark My Words” she dropped later the same month. Multiple songs on the album have had consistent radio play on major radio stations. Dejah’E is bringing in a new wave of R&B with her latest single "Thug".
