Vendetta the Vision brings fresh eccentric blend of hip hop, rock and funk to the New York (and broader) music scene with unique perspective. Born in the year of the Dragon, Vendetta (Vijay Ramcharitar) got his start in music in high school with freestyles and rapping in school yard and house party cyphers, but didn't take to the stage until he assembled his crew like the parts of Voltron to form the band Hollywood Drive-by in 2011. After 7 years of playing Northeastern US venues large and small and releasing 2 albums, Vendetta decided to start focusing on his solo venture as "Vendetta the Vision" releasing his first solo album in 2017 and playing shows to support it's release in 2017 and 2018. After a hiatus from music, Vendetta the Vision is back with a planned 2nd album to release in late 2024 titled "Apparitions" - an album about introspection and intrusive thoughts; cuz who doesn't have those?
