Short, sweet, & to the point. That’s how some people would describe Rasiir but it wouldn’t be too far fetched to hear something like “I Do Everything” come from his mouth. Born in Trenton New Jersey but raised in Baltimore Maryland, recording artist, rapper, dj, engineer and producer Rashaad Leslie Griffin AKA “Rasiir” started his musical journey in a freshman guitar class of Newtown High with like-minded and creative students that turned into longtime friends and collaborators on his discography. Back then he only wanted to be a dj, little did he know how far is abilities could and would actually go. Rasiir grabs inspiration from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Smino, and Jay Dilla to name a few. Rasiir also has a incredible knack for versatility from being able to quickly switch between is rapper and producer side. He has also shown that he is very good at balancing as well as mixing his too states of music creation together to further his creative reach. After finally snatching up his high school diploma and walking across that stage. Rasiir released his debut production project “blk | nse” in the summer of 2017 and his debut rap ep “Nameless” on March 3th 2018 and has been working on new material ever since. August 2018 is when his debut album “LAZYWORKAHOLIC” released, he immediately went on hiatus to work on his craft and improve. he later returned to releasing music late 2020 to show the world what he has to offer.
