Jeremy Butterworth is a solo artist and principal songwriter and guitarist/vocalist of the highly acclaimed Red Eye Records alternative rock band @BhagavadGuitars, who were prominent in the alternative music scene in Australia in the late 80’s early 90’s. The band reunited in 2008 and released another album, ‘Unfamiliar Places’, in 2011. He is also the lead vocalist/guitarist of the "@BongBongAll-stars", a funk/blues/rock outfit who have released their debut self titled debut EP in 2024. Jeremy's latest solo EP release 'Jez Odyssey, produced by Haydn Martin , comprises 4 very stylistically different songs, all teaming with that trademark driving passion and smooth soulful sound, drawing from his experience in different live outfits, whilst keeping that distinct JB flavour - a mix of bluesy funky rocky styles fused with his alt rock/indie roots. A nice follow up from his 2017 acoustic solo album ‘Together We Arrive’ - an unplugged collection of his favourite solo and BGs tracks including an acoustic version of Just to be Sure - one of the first BGs tracks to gain extensive airplay on Triple J and internationally in the late 80s/early 90s
