Cassandra Sotos is an artist, songwriter and international touring and studio violinist, known primarily for her work in country, rock, pop, and Bollywood. Her journey as a musician started at the age of 4 when she first picked up her violin, and she was performing in honkytonks and dive bars by the age of 13. For a short time she put music aside to become an industrial engineer in New York City, which made her realize her need and desire to re-devote her life to music leading her to move to Nashville, TN. Cassandra has performed nationally and internationally, most notably a two year tour with Arijit Singh, the most successful artist in the history of Indian music and Bollywood cinema. This tour allowed Cassandra to perform sold out shows across North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Collaborating with American and World artists, Cassandra has recorded and performed with The Wildflowers (Tony Harnell (TNT) and Bumblefoot (Guns N' Roses), Chiara Gallana 'ABA' (Italy), Vitera and Tequila Rock Revolution. Independently, she has also toured throughout North America, Africa and Europe. Putting a new spin on the Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne classic, her new release “Close My Eyes Forever” features Sotos and Vitera on vocals & Viper Electric Violins, combined with Tequila Rock Revolution’s signature fusion of modern metal guitars and drums, synth and authentic Mariachi instrumentation including trumpets, vihuela and the Paraguayan harp.
